Loosely inserted, hand-painted plates measure 38 cm x 28.5 cm; 1 double-page, 10 single page, 1 limitation page, 2 title-pages (includes a duplicate of the front cover onlay). Housed in the original portfolio of paper covered boards (measuring 41 cm x 32 cm) with inner paper turn-ins to hold the plates. Hand-painted front cover onlay. Rear cover has hand-painted oval onlay (duplicate of portion of limitation page). Paper covered cloth spine. Sacchetti, born in Rome, was an illustrator, fashion designer, caricaturist and commerical artist. He stayed in France for only 3 years where he was mainly active as a fashion designer. At the outbreak of WW1 he returned to Italy where he worked as a propaganda artist.
